Jigyasa Taneja Sethi

- Writer, Director

Jigyasa Taneja Sethi won a BAFTA/LA award and a regional Oscar nomination as writer/director for her short Dussehra, produced in LA and shown worldwide. She then went on to become Creative Director for TV after which she discovered her love for ad films and worked with the likes of Foot Candles and Red Ice as well as Excel Entertainment and Seredipity Films for features like Don and Being Cyrus. Jigyasa later took to writing for Television and Feature films along with directing a range of fiction and non-fiction work for for organisations such as UNDPO and Govt. of India. Jigyasa has been faculty in Delhi University bringing her international experience to aid students in writing and filmmaking and has mentored several artists through her global program Writers Bridge which also provides writers and content to the film and TV industry.

Aaron Henne

- playwright

Aaron Henne, a contemporary artist and award winning playwright turned director based in LA. His exploration of machines and their relation to humanity Body Mecanique, was developed and produced by LA Contemporary Dance Company (LACDC). His ode to Kafka's The Castle opened in February 2011 and received brilliant critical acclaim. He is also a proud member of The Playwright's Union. His recent works include collision/theory's Blood Red Lost Head Dead Falcon: The Nibelungen, a multimedia adaptation of a 12th Century Epic Poem, s. At present Aaron teaches writing for the Playwrights' Program at The Robey Theatre Company, Wordspace, Writing Pad and runs the writer's studio, Wordstrut. He has developed excluive lectures for Writers Bridge

Tamara Logsdon Hawkinson

- Author and Screenwriter

Tamara Logsdon Hawkinson Professional Writer and Screenwriter Tamara has a range of works to her credit. She has written non-fiction articles on predominant topics such as the history of the American West, Native American Music and Jewellery, and Western collectibles. She has also written The Arizona Travel Smart- a highly regarded travelogue. Her book The Desert Home is an award winning coffee table book on architecture and design. Based in Arizona and LA, Tamara has the experience of being an online screenwriting instructor for more than five years, and is now core faculty at Writers Bridge.

Alankrita Srivastava

- Writer, Director

Alankrita Shrivastava is an Indian screenwriter and director. Having made her debut as a director in 2011, she has since won such accolades as the Films de Femmes Grand Prix and a nomination for a Filmfare award. Shrivastava studied filmmaking at Jamia Milia Islamia in New Delhi and later moved to Mumbai. She began working as an associate director for Prakash Jha. After assisting Jha on notable projects including Apharan (2005) and Rajneeti (2010), Shrivastava made her directorial debut with 2011 film Turning 30. She later received widespread praise for the black comedy Lipstick Under My Burkha, which she directed and wrote. The film earned her, among other accolades, a nomination at the Filmfare Awards.

Ritu Bhatia

- Screenwriter

Ritu is a screenwriter, who has been working in this industry since 2002. Previously she has assisted in various films, and now she is working as a writer. Her work range started from theatre to a big screen and now in our drawing rooms for television serials. She also worked for one mythological show where she had to travel across the country to gather information. Ritu studied film and TV from XIC and started working on a documentary under her teacher. After that, she started working as an Assistant Director in various films from where her career started.

She had the opportunity to work with great theatre personality Eve Ensler where she was the Hindi translator for the play Kissa Yoni Ka – a vagina monologue. Her writings are very local, where we can relate to our conversation. She is a writer who does not stick to a particular genre. She usually writes as a feminist, and most of her stories revolve around real issues. She was awarded the ITA award for the best dialogue. A hardworking woman who wants to write more films, shows and very soon, we’ll get in digital also.

Deepanjali Sarkar

- Screenwriter

She is a Scriptwriter and works on script development. She has been associated with Yash Raj Film and various big banners in Bollywood. Currently she is heading Script Development at Yash Raj Films. She has rich experience in the field of Script Writing. She has been appreciated and honoured by FTII for her consistency, quality and hardwork that her work portrays. Sarkar has over 20 years of experience in Creative writing and communication.

Ankita Kumar

- Screenwriter

Ankita Kumar is a post graduate from the Film & Television Institute of India, Pune. After completing her screenwriting course from FTII, she has been pursuing a successful career in films and television... She assisted legendary film maker Prakash Jha on his film Apaharan. She wrote and directed documentary films Maadhyam and Bandhan for the coveted Public Diplomacy Division of the Ministry of External Affairs. These films were screened at the prestigious OSIAN film and won accolades for her. She had a long stint with the prestigious media firm BAG Films & Media Ltd and was Creative Director for shows like Ankhiyon ke Jharonkhon Se and Star Vivaah telecast on Star Plus. She worked as Supervising Producer for shows like India Investigates on Fox History and Discover India on Discovery channel. She is credited with the concept creation of police investigative shows like Red Alert on Star News (now ABP News), rural diaries like Grameen Bharat and Mera Gaon Mera Desh, Jaago Graahak Jaago and many more.
